Traveling by ferry is part of experiencing island life. BC Ferries provides regular scheduled car/passenger service to Mayne Island all year. The island is a scenic 60 minutes from Vancouver (Tsawwassen) and 50 minutes from Victoria (Swartz Bay) on Vancouver Island.

Ferry reservations can be made during busy periods at no extra cost. Reserve on-line at www.bcferries.com or call toll free in BC 1-888-223-3779 or 1-250-386-3431 outside of BC. Arrive 30-40 minutes ahead of scheduled times, and make sure you pick up a Mayne Island Chamber brochure/map on the ferry. For ferry walk-ons, our Mayne Island Resort shuttle will pick up our guests. Phone ahead to confirm.

Sea plane service is also available to and from Mayne Island Via Kenmore Air, and the views are magnificent.
